Apple has presently registered a new patent application for the much discussed iWallet, as per Patently Apple.
Apple has registered many other patents on this issue, in an effort to save this iWallet solution for iPhones. Although this one is much like past patents, it concentrates more on conducting several financial dealings, just like Square.
Perhaps this means we’ll see NFC concept and the well known iWallet solution included in the next generation iPhone this year. Obviously, this is only a patent application, so we don’t know really when we can anticipate it. This patent application simply shows us that Apple is still making an effort to get the iWallet to us and our iPhones.
