Shruti Haasan has signed to play the heroine opposite Ram in his Telugu film Kandireega 2, a sequel to Kandireega. This is her third Telugu film after successful Gabbar Singh and Ravi Teja’s Balupu, which is under production.
Kandireega 2 was launched five months ago, but was delayed after director Santosh Srinivas lodged a complaint with Director’s Association, alleging that the film’s producer Bellamkonda Suresh beat him up. The issues seem to be settled now and the film is all set to take off.
The movie directed by Kandireega fame Santosh Srinivas. He earlier direct Ram’s Kandireega. The movie will be produced by Bellamkonda Suresh on his Sai Ganesh Productions banner. Thaman willbe composing music for this movie.
Meanwhile, Ram is busy shooting for Bhaskar’s Ongole Gitta and Shruti Haasan is juggling between the sets of Prabhu Deva’s film and Arjun Rampal’s D Day.
