BLU Vivo 4.65 Price,Features and Specifications

When it comes to naming your product, hitting the nail on the head can be quite tricky. You will need something that is short and sweet, and yet gets the message across so that ordinary folks would know what you are referring to without having to pause and think.

Giving smartphones names could be quite a fun affair, where you have Samsung with their Galaxy range, HTC with different kinds of “feelings” involved (Desire, Sensation, et al), Sony with their trademark Xperia line, the list goes on. How about BLU Products? We also haven’t heard of them, but this could by the very reason why they decided to go for the jugular by calling their latest smartphone as the VIVO 4.65 HD. You know for sure this puppy will come with a 4.65” display, and it will be the better version of the VIVO 4.3 that rolled out earlier this year.
BLU Vivo 4.65 Price In India Is Around Rs. 15,000/-

Canon Powershot N Price,Features and Specifications

Canon Powershot N  Review : The new Canon Powershot N includes a lot of the features that Canon (and other companies) been adding to tiny point-and-shoots over the years, like Wi-Fi connectivity and touchscreen controls. What makes it new and refreshing—at least aesthetically—is the new design that’s more square. It’s no great secret that the conventional point-and-shoot camera market appears to be in terminal decline. The ever-increasing capability of smartphone cameras means that they’re more than good enough for the vast majority of casual users, while their internet connectivity makes it easy to share pictures with the rest of the world the moment they’re taken. Throw in the current popularity of Instagram, with its emphasis on the use of ‘artistic’ image processing filters and community sharing, and it’s little wonder that people are deserting the pocket camera in droves.

Asus ME301T MemoPad 10 Inch Jelly Bean Tablet Price, Features & Specifications

Asus ME301T MemoPad 10  Asus has pretty much always been an important tablet player, but ever since the Google co-branded Nexus 7 got out the bar of expectations got a huge bump. Now we’re all eyes on the Taiwan-based electronics company, which is seen by some as one of the only hopes of Android ever overthrowing Apple’s iPads from their leadership positions. But does Asus have enough fire to come up with awesome tabs without Google’s direct help? We shall probably see about that in only a few short weeks, when, according to piling rumors, several new Asus devices will be thrown to the lions.

Features & Specifications :

The Asus ME301T MemoPad 10 is a 10-inch Android 4.1 Jelly Bean tablet running on a quad-core Tegra 3 chip, but what’s most interesting – it has a very affordable price tag of 308 euro (Asus ME301T MemoPad 10406) in Europe. This might seem like much, but in Europe’s realities it is actually a very affordable device, as say the Nexus 7 in Europe sells for around 250 euro. At that price, it’s definitely not a competitor to the latest iPad. There can be little excitement about the 10.1-inch 1,280 x 800-pixel display, and 16GB of internal storage, what’s more fascinating is the low price. Also, the fact that both a Wi-Fi-only and a Wi-Fi plus cellular options will be available.

Price To Be Announced Soon...!

Apple unveils iPad Mini Available from November 2 for £269

Apple has officially unveiled the iPad Mini. The iPad Mini has a 7.9in LED backlit display with a 1024 x 768 resolution, the same as the iPad 2, and the use of WiFi only or WiFi+Cellular models giving 4G LTE connectivity. Accessible to pre-order from this Friday Oct 26th, the iPad Mini WI-fi edition will begin shipping the following week on Friday 2nd Nov in Britain.
We’ll have to wait until ‘late November’ for cellular versions. The smallest iPad yet is also the most cost effective, with the lowest priced iPad Mini being the 16GB, WiFi-only iPad Mini, which will sell for £269. The iPad Mini is 23% slimmer and 53% lighter than the Third generation iPad and has the same 10-hour life of the battery. It can be held one-handed, as you can observe, and has the Apple A5 chip. It’ll run all the available iPad applications straight away – it’s the same resolution display screen as the iPad 2 – so that’s 700,000 specially-made iPad apps to select from.

The popular new Lightning connector is offered here, too, so you will need an adapter for existing dock connections. FaceTime High definition camera on the front, 5 Mega pixel iSight camera on the back and “ultrafast wireless” 802.11n WI-fi connectivity. The iPad Mini will also be provided with the choice of a 4G LTE mobile connection, though we will have to wait a couple weeks longer for these in Britain.

iPad Mini prices

Apple iPad Mini 16GB £269 (WiFi)  £369 (WiFi+cellular)
Apple iPad Mini 32GB £349 (WiFi)  £449 (WiFi+cellular)
Apple iPad Mini 64GB £429 (WiFi)  £529 (WiFi+cellular)

Facebook Concept Smartphones

Facebook Concept Smartphones

The official Facebook-branded smartphone will allegedly come with a custom-designed OS that enhances your Facebook experience, though no specifics have yet been released.

The Square Facebook Phone

Facebook Concept Smartphones

This device has a compact aluminum casing and a sliding mechanism. The wheel is all aluminum and the experience must be very nice when it comes to touching this area with your fingertips. With this wheel you can scroll through the Facebook timeline, News list, Friend List photos and even the Instagram filters. The design here is something between iPod nano and Motorola Flipout. I could imagine every teen in USA playing with such a device, to be honest. In the sliding area we've got what looks like a pretty decent camera, maybe a 5 megapixel sensor, while at the back there's a cutout for a speaker.

Facebook Lytro Facebook Phone

Facebook Concept Smartphones

The handset integrates Instagram with LYTRO and seems to run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, judging by the upper and lower side of the screen. To me this looks like a full touch smartphone with a 4.5 to 4.8 inch screen, most likely a HD one, although one wouldn't necesarilly need 720p resolution to socialize. If Facebook wants to keep the cost down, they'll make a handset with great performance, cheap components, decent camera and great battery. So, a qHD display, 8MP camera, a dual core CPU and 4G LTE connectivity.

HTC Facebook Phone

Facebook Concept Smartphones

Other than that everything is cool, there's even a FB button for a Home button, a metallic back, a camera with flash (8MP sensor?) and a very interesting earpiece area at the front. There's a lot of metal involved in the design of the concept Facebook handset, compared to the usual plasticky devices seen lately, Samsung Galaxy S III included. It's true, it may be polycarbonate in some cases, but metal is still metal. Also that blend between gray metal and black plastic at the back is pretty interesting.

The Blue Experience

Facebook Concept Smartphones

The Blue Experience phone has an Instagram button and comes with a blue saturated aluminum casing (17.5 x 5.5 cm). It's designed in as a wedge and the display is easy to view even when the handset is flat on the table. The display size and aspect ratio are optimized for the new Facebook core app OS. At the top of the Facebook Phone we have an incoming message notification area and a button that allows access to the messaging center directly. At the back there's a camera with LED flash and Spotify is also integrated into this experience with a dedicated button on the left side.

Facebook Plus Smartphone

Facebook Concept Smartphones

As you probably know already, Facebook recruited many former software and hardware engineers from Apple and put them to work on the Facebook Phone. Michal's Facebook Phone features a 4.2 inch display, possibly a Super AMOLED or SLCD 2 one, plus an 8 megapixel camera at the back. The design of the camera area with that metallic band would make any hardware maker jealous, aside from Toshiba, that already did a similar thing with the cameras on the Thrive tablet.

Acer's Windows 8 V5 Series Notebook Sports 10-Point Touch Display

Computer makers are having to reconsider laptops design to coincide with the new features of Windows 8. Acer has just shown off its new offering, and it is clear that the company had the Windows 8 philosophy in mind when it designed the Aspire V5 laptop. The V5 features a 10-point touch display and a larger trackpad, both of which are designed for better interaction with the features Windows 8 has to offer.

Why a 10-point touch display? Well we have ten fingers, so with this screen technology, all ten of them can be touching something different and the screen will be able to read the inputs of each one. This technology offers great flexibility for interacting with a computer.

Acer is putting a great emphasis on making the V5 as thin and light as it possibly could without losing features. Generally, when a company makes a laptop thin, the first thing to be cut is the optical drive. Acer managed to keep the DVD drive in both sizes of the V5 and still retain a thin profile The 14” model is .83” (21 mm) thick and the 15.6” model is 0.90” (23 mm) thick.

In terms of weight, the 14” display comes in at 4.63 lbs (2.1 kg). The larger 15.6” model weighs in at 5.3 lbs (2.4 kg). While not the lightest laptop on the market, these are certainly on the lighter side.

Making a thin, light laptop does not do anyone much good if it is not packing a punch in terms of speed and performance. The new Windows 8 V5 comes equipped with Intel Core family processors and NVIDIA GeForce GT series graphics. Acer did not release the exact specs, but we can only assume that it will vary depending on the price point and model chosen. The screen is also ready for HD. That, plus the NVIDIA graphics cards could make this a viable laptop for gamers as well as casual computer users.

Acer Aspire S7 Touchscreen Windows 8 Ultrabook

It seems that companies are becoming more and more active in rolling out their Windows 8 products in the past couple of months and Acer is one of them.
They announced their Acer Aspire S7 ultrabook a month ago but its only now that they have unveiled the specs of this thing.
To start of, this ultrabook has an (optional) touchscreen, comes in 11.6 and 13.3 inch versions and runs on Windows 7 which will be upgraded to Windows 8. Since it will launch in the second half of September, Acer won’t be able to put Windows 8 in this ultrabook.
Here are the specs:
  • 11.6 or 13.3 inch versions with full HD displays
  • Thickness: 12.5 mm
  • Aluminium unibody (with a glass lid on the outside of the 13 inch flavor)
  • Screen moveable by 180 degrees
  • Backlit keyboard and a trackpad with no physical buttons
  • Windows 7 running but might be upgraded by Acer themselves
  • Intel Core (Ivy Bridge) i5 processors(you can have core i7 for some more money)
  • 4 Gb RAM coupled with 128GB of SSD storage
  • micro HDMI port/ Thunderbolt port/ headphone jack
  • 2 USB 3.0 ports and a full size SD card slot
  • Acer’s new Twin Air cooling system for keeping the ultrabook cool
  • 9 & 12 hrs battery life for the 11 & 13 inch models respectively
  • Option for more RAM, SSD storage and touchscreen
Other than having a touchscreen (which is very rare for an ultrabook), Acer Aspire S7 has an exceptional design which puts it in the same class as the Macbooks from Apple (design-wise). The ultrabook will retail for $1465 or around Rs. 160,000 or more when it launch in September.
