The Kobo Arc tablet which went official earlier this month will launch in 3 storage options that start at 16GB and go all the way up to 64GB. Also, the 8GB base version which was mentioned at the time of the announcement is apparently scrapped from the company’s roll out plan.
These new slates from Kobo operate on the Android Ice Cream Sandwich platform and take on budget-friendly tags which are priced a bit higher than the competition, the 7-inch Kindle Fire HD. Tucked away within its 189mm X 120mm X 11.5mm form factor is a 1.5 GHz dual core processor and 1GB of RAM for a smooth experience through the Tapestries UI.
