Industry legend director and producer Yash Chopra has passed away at the age of 80. The iconic director was diagnosed of Dengue and admitted to the hospital last week. On Wednesday, he was reported to have improved and was expected to be discharged soon.
The director who debuted in filmmaking in 1973 is known for screen gems like Deewar, Chandni, Dil To Pagal Hai, Veer-Zaara among many others.
Mr Chopra's 22nd film, Jab Tak Hai Jaan starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, will release this Diwali, 13th November, 2012.
