Mohit Sehgal Was born on 3 December 1985 in Chandigarh and brought up in Delhi into a Punjabi family. He is an Indian television actor, known for his role as Samrat in the series Miley Jab Hum Tum on STAR One. Apart from serials like Miley Jab Hum Tum, Mohit also has done films like Delhi Heights as Vicky (2007). He has also appeared in dance reality show like Zara Nachke Dikha season 2 in 2010. Mohit Sehgal was nominated for New Talent Awards for Best Actor 2009 & got Kalakar Awards for Best Actor, Best offscreen jodi with Sanaya Irani & Best onscreen jodi with Sanaya Irani.

Mohit sehgal has done an acting course from Barry John. Mohit has done advertising work for Dr. Batra's and Maruti Zen Estilo, and print ads for Gatsby Hair Gel, Reliance P.C.O, Virgin Mobile, and a few magazines. He started his career with the film Delhi Heights by playing the character of Vicky alongside actors Jimmy Shergill and Neha Dhupia. Mohit used to play a college boy, Samrat, in the serial Miley Jab Hum Tum.

About Mohit Sehgal's New Show on Star Plus Khamoshiya:

Mohit Sehgal after playing the famous role of Samrat in Miley jab hum tum, was on a period of rest. Mohit sehgal is making his comeback with star Plus new show Kuch Kehti Hain Ye Khamoshiyan. Khamoshiyan is a dramatic love story based on an NRI who is from London. And the NRI role is being played by the young stud Mohit sehgal. Many actors where approached for the role but now it seems the production house has zeroed in Mohit Sehgal as the lead. The show will start its pilot shoot sometime this week and will also go on an international schedule for the shoot.
